ViDOFON fixes own environmental policy
With the beginning of the new year the ViDOFON AG has submitted itself to an own code of conduct on environmental issues. By offering environmental friendly technologies ViDOFON AG contributes largely to a better world climate and to a conservation of our environment already today. Especially due to the deployment of global videoconferences a significant reduction of CO2–emissions will be possible in the future. Each company which decides for the application of video conferencing makes its own contribution to protect our environment and global resources and at the same time gains a significant advantage in competition.
ViDOFON AG seeks to be an example for its customers and has submitted itself to an own code of conduct on environmental issues. For example all meetings with our international team members are being held via video- or audio-conference. Furthermore important appointments at the customer site are being planned and managed deliberately to keep any burden on the environment to a minimum. For example colleagues are bound to match necessary appointments to the same regions in the same time-frames or either to use environmentally friendly means of transportation such as railway. The code also comprised the aims to promote the awareness of all employees towards legal and regulatory obligations that help to protect the environment by a culture of open communication and internal instructions.
Our Resources are not endlessly. Ecological and economical we must deal responsible with it. Besides our video conferencing products, the abidance by the code offers the chance to contribute to the protection of our climate,“ states Jörg Weisflog, CEO of ViDOFON AG.
