The AXIS Camera Station is a digital video surveillance software for Axis network-cameras and video servers. It offers functions for video surveillance and –recording and event-management. The software contains different search-functions for recorded events. The video pictures can be called up and shown also from a distant computer. For this a Web Browser according to standard or the integrated Windows Client of the AXIS Camera station serves is needed.

The AXIS Camera Recorder-Software offers to users of Windows-PCs automatical recording and live-supervising functions for the surveillance. With AXIS Camera Recorder users can determine, if the video is recorded sequentially, after schedule, by alarm release and/or during movement recognition. The software plans warnings for alarm events over acoustic signals of the computer or by e-mail, as well as search functions on base of events or date and time.

Additionally to Axis Camera Explorer there is the AXIS Camera Explorer for Pocket PC (ACE) available, which allows control by pocket PC’s.
